Anitta reveals that her next album will have a more alternative style

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Anitta opened the game and was willing to tell a little more about the creation of his new funk album, giving more details about the style of the songs used to assist in his compositions. Furthermore, she also has in mind telling her story through a series.

An alternative album

The singer and songwriter has reportedly been preparing her newest album Funk Generation for some time and it will be available on platforms in March 2024. Anita had already promised to bring us a kind of “trilingual funk”, a style that mixes our mother tongue with other languages ​​such as Spanish and English.

In addition to the different language, the beats of each song will be unique and well handled, the most famous touches of pop and reggaeton will be included in the other musical compositions.”It's like an artistic-alternative album”, says the singer. “It's not mainstream Latin because it's funk. It's not mainstream English.“.

The new musical project by Anitta promises to bring the roots of funk back to the media, it promises to honor its history and hopes to bring appreciation to Brazilian culture: “When you're just trying to beat this person, beat that chart, beat that number, you don't have a purpose… And for me, it's so much more. I want to open doors for my people..”

Your career in a new perspective

Anitta has an international career that is much better known than many other Brazilian artists who work abroad or not, but the singer wants to raise this level in another way besides the musical. During the interview, she says that she hopes to one day direct a series where she would tell the entire story of her life until she reached to where it arrived.

“(…) Asomething that when people are done and think, 'Okay, I can do whatever I want'”. The Brazilian artist didn't start at the top, there was a whole process of growth and overcoming until she became the great woman we see today. For this and other reasons, she wants to produce and direct a more realistic series.
