Barcelona found its way back to victory this Sunday (26), by delivering a historic 7-1 rout over Valencia, in a match valid for the 21st round of the Spanish Championship. The clash took place at the Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, in Barcelona, and featured Brazilian Raphinha, who scored one of the goals. The other goals were scored by Ferran Torres, Fermín López (2), De Jong, Lewandowski and Cesar Tarrega (own goal). Hugo Duro scored for the visitors.
End of fasting
With the result, the team led by Hansi Flick, which had come from four games without winning (two draws and two defeats), reached 42 points, consolidating third place in the table. The gap to leaders Real Madrid is now seven points. Valencia, in turn, sank further into the relegation zone, parking at 16 points and occupying 19th place.
The game
The match was marked by a great offensive performance from Barcelona. The scoring opened just three minutes into the game, when De Jong took advantage of Lamine Yamal's cross and finished with precision. In the eighth minute, Ferran Torres expanded after a pass from Balde. Brazilian Raphinha left his mark at 14, with a classy move when he dribbled past goalkeeper Mamardashvili before pushing it into the net. Fermín López, in an inspired afternoon, scored twice, in the 24th and 49th minutes of the first half.

In the 30th minute, Cesar Tarrega, Valencia's defender, deflected the ball into his own goal, sealing the victory.
