Lisa flirts with urban cyberpunk themes in teaser for the single “Rockstar”

Lisa, member of the KPOP band, BLACKPINK, released this Wednesday (26) the teaser, with an urban and cyberpunk feel, of her new single, “Rockstar”, after a hiatus of around three years in her solo career.

Thai singer Lisa, 27, who works as one of the members of the now super famous BLACKPINK, is about to return with her solo career – on hiatus since 2021, when she released the album “Lalisa”, with the hit songs “ Lalise” and “Money” – with her new single: “Rockstar”.

“Rockstar” has not yet been released. However, this Wednesday (26) was the day that Lisa released the sound teaser that promises an animated clip.

With a multiple aesthetic, which delves into science fiction, using and abusing the urban and cyberpunk style, Lisa promises a sound and visual spectacle in her next solo work.

Group career

Lisa, who is a girl born in Thailand, rose to stardom in KPOP – the musical branch of Korean pop – in the now well-known group BLACKPINK, under YG Entertainment.

The singer, who also works as a rapper, has been a member of the group since 2016 along with Jisoo, Jennie and Rosé. The quartet exploded worldwide with the mega hits “Kill this Love” and “How you love that”, as well as several others.

The singer and rapper has already partnered with big names in international music such as DJ Snake, Ozuna and Megan Thee Stallion. Furthermore, she has won awards such as the MTV Europe Music Awards for Best K-Pop, becoming the first KPOP singer to win a solo award like this.
