Ludmilla reveals that she denied partnerships with big international names

Ludmilla gave details of her career and personal life on the Podpah podcast, hosted by Igor Cavalari and Thiago Marques, where she was the special guest this Tuesday (23) and revealed her fear of expanding her career to the international market.

In the conversation, the singer recalled the relevance that the program Esquenta!, hosted by Regina Casé, had at the beginning of her career and said that she was a regular on the program. At the time, Ludmilla was known as MC Beyoncé, due to her admiration for the North American artist, and revealed that the feared change was suggested by her record company, which justified, “it could cause problems later on” and said he believed in the singer's talent so that she could become big with her own name.

The singer expressed gratitude for her friend who aimed to bring visibility to peripheral artists with the program and recalled that the name change happened through a popular vote on Esquenta!, “I owe a lot to Regina because she introduced my face to Brazil”, explained.

Born in Duque de Caxias, Rio, Ludmilla also spoke about her school years and said she was the target of jokes for using hair extensions to replicate the look of Beyoncé, her biggest inspiration. “I was a Beyoncé fanatic, now that I have money to go to her concert, she doesn't do concerts anymore”, he joked.

Regarding a possible expansion of her career into the international market, Ludmilla revealed that she has already turned down offers of collaboration with big names, “I was afraid of not having structure, of not having English” he explained, saying that it was not his focus at the moment and that he is investing in studying English and Spanish.

Last week, Ludmilla attended Rosalía's show in São Paulo and said that the Spanish woman said that she and her wife, former BBB and dancer Brunna Gonçalves, were an inspiration to her.
