PvE mode arrives in Teamfight Tactics
– All in one GAME updates, New game release, 2024 games, upcoming games, trending games, latest discovery and game reviews.

Well, folks, Riot Games has decided it's time to bring chaos to the table. And of course, I'm not talking about an end-of-season ranked match. We're talking about something new, something that mixes the PvE we love with the insanity that only Riot Games can offer. Teamfight Tactics (TFT) could provide. That's right, the way “Horuja Challenges” is coming to make our hair stand on end, because if there's one thing every TFT player knows, it's that Riot loves to experiment – and this time, it's no different.

But what witchcraft is this?

First, let's start with the name. Chaos and Witchcraft – you can already smell the magic and chaos in the air, right? That's the name of the latest TFT set, which came with everything to mess with our heads (and patience). And as if that wasn't enough, the guys at Riot decided it was a good idea to launch an experimental PvE mode in the middle of all this mess. If you thought you had seen it all in TFT, get ready, because “Horuja Challenges” will show you that you were wrong.

The way Horuja Challenges It's the kind of thing that seems simple on paper, but in practice… oh, in practice it's just suffering. 30 rounds, 6 bosses, 3 lives and a score counter that will make you question all your life choices. The goal? Survive as long as possible, defeat bosses that look like they came straight out of hell, and on top of that, try to stay calm while the game does everything it can to bring you down.

Bosses with unique personalities

These bosses you’ll be facing are not your friends. They’re designed to give you a headache, and Riot made sure that each one has a different combat style – because, of course, why make life easier for players, right? You’ll be fighting on icy mountains, grassy fields, and what not, all while trying to learn each boss’s attack patterns and devise strategies to defeat them. Good luck with that.

And the magic doesn’t stop there…

One of the coolest things about this new mode is that it's solo. That's right, no need to worry about that friend of yours who always gets in the way when it's time to position yourself well. Here, it's just you against the world (or rather, against the game). And the best part: no timers! Finally, you can play at your own pace. If you need to take a break to breathe (or scream), don't worry, just come back when you're ready for the next round.

Oh, and let's not forget the rewards. Because, let's face it, if we're going to go through this hell, there better be something cool waiting for us at the end, right? As you progress through the rounds, you'll earn points that you can use to show off to your friends and challenge everyone to see who can get the highest score. And of course, if you feel like the normal mode isn't challenging enough (who in their right mind would do that?), there's still the Chaos Mode to test the limits of your sanity.

A toast to chaos

THE Riot Games has already made it clear that this is an experiment. This means that, in addition to possible fun, you will also encounter some bugs, a balance that may not be 100% and, of course, many surprises. But, let's be honest, anyone who plays TFT is already used to this kind of thing, right? The difference here is that, this time, you can't blame your friends for the disaster. If things go wrong, it's all on you.

Matthew Wittrockthe Lead Game Designer of Teamfight Tacticscommented that creating this mode was something new for the team and that they are excited to see how the community will react. It's that famous “let's let them have it and see what happens”. Of course, all of this with the innovative spirit that Riot loves to rub in our faces with each update.

And don't think it ended there. Peter WhalenGame Director, said that this year has been a record year for game modes and events in TFT. They’re betting heavily on innovation and experimentation, which for us players means more chances for guaranteed fun (and frustration). They know the community is demanding, but they’re confident that this mode will surprise everyone – for good or for bad.

Remembering the TFT Journey

For those who don't remember, Teamfight Tactics emerged as a game mode in League of Legendsbut it quickly established itself as one of the world’s leading strategy platforms. Since its launch, the game has undergone countless updates, each bringing new features that have left players both excited and nervous. From thematic sets to innovative mechanics, TFT has always been a field of experimentation, where Riot feels free to push the boundaries of what a strategy game can offer.

Over time, TFT was consolidating itself not only as a pastime for casual players, but also as a serious competition, with world championships and cash prizes. Who would have thought that this game mode, which many thought would not last, would become one of Riot's pillars?

And now, with Chaos and Witchcraft and the new mode Horuja ChallengesTFT proves that it still has a lot to offer. If you're a fan of strategy games and love a good challenge, this mode is for you. But if you're one of those who gets stressed easily, well… maybe it's best to stay away. Or not, because, let's face it, we know you'll end up playing anyway.

What to expect?

If you're ready to dive headfirst into the magical chaos that is Horuja Challengesprepare yourself for the unexpected. Riot Games has managed, once again, to create something that will make you love and hate the game at the same time. But, in the end, that's the beauty of it. TFT: a game where the impossible happens and where, in the midst of frustration, you find true fun.

So, good luck! Because, believe me, you're going to need it. And remember: when all seems lost, just keep playing – after all, as a wise TFT player would say, “If you’re going to lose, do it in style!”
