The North American band Foo Fighters held last Friday (26) the second show of his tour, at Boston Callinga festival that takes place in the city of Boston, Massachusetts. In addition to being one of the first shows of the new tour, the presentation was marked by the special participation of Shane Hawkinsson of the band's former drummer Taylor Hawkinswho passed away in 2022.

Shane participated in the performance of the song “I'll stick around”, leading the public to a general commotion. In addition to being very talented on the drums, Taylor's son reminds him a lot of his father, both physically and in terms of energy on stage. This is the second time that Shake Hawkins has joined the group, the first being in 2022. In tribute to his father, the song played on the occasion was “My Hero” (Meu Hero, in Portuguese), one of Foo Fighters’ biggest hits. Out of curiosity, “I'll stick around” was not originally recorded by Taylor, but rather by Dave Grohl, who plays all the instruments on the song.

Another highlight of the Show was Dave Grohl's daughter, Violet Grohl, who participated in the performance of “Rope”, another hit by the band.

Foo Fighters recently announced the release of the band's new album “But here we are” and some songs are already being made available. The album is scheduled to be released on June 2nd, next Friday. Today, May 30th, the band released the track “The Teacher”, which is 10 minutes long. The song is a tribute to Virginia Grohl, mother of band leader Dave Grohl and who passed away in August 2022, just 5 months after the death of Taylor Hawkins. The entire new album is a tribute to both of them.

The teacher” is already the fourth track on the released album, along with “Rescued“, “Under You” It is “Show Me How“. The new songs are expected to be played during the ongoing tour, meaning fans can expect unforgettable and never-before-seen performances.
