How to enable dark mode in the app

- Access Uber
First, at the bottom of the app’s home screen, tap “Account.” Then, in the next area, open “Settings.”
- Customize the app theme
Then, on the next screen, tap “Appearance”. Finally, in the tab that opens below, check “Dark Mode” and confirm the action with “Save”.

Uber and Cruise partner to introduce robot taxis
On August 22, Uber announced a partnership with Cruise, a subsidiary of the vehicle manufacturing company General Motors, to introduce self-driving cars to its app starting in 2025. Initially, the new feature will only be available in the city of San Francisco, in the United States.
The merger of the two companies, which should last for several years, will allow users of the ride-hailing service to request trips using cars equipped with this technology.
But this isn't Uber's first foray into robot taxis. Since October 2023, the company has been offering this service in the city of Phoenix, Arizona, through its partnership with Waymo, the self-driving technology subsidiary of the Alphabet conglomerate.
