Beyoncé announces Renaissance's “Act II” and releases two new singles

It was announced this past Sunday (11), after a “Verizon” commercial starring the singer during the Super Bowl halftime, the release of “Act 2”, the second part of Beyoncé’s “Renaissance” album. In a post on social media, the singer set the release date for March 29, releasing part of the video for her new song “Texas Hold 'Em” and showing the release period at the end.

Two new tracks

At the end of the commercial featuring the singer, Beyoncé closed by saying: “Okay, they're ready, release the music.” He then released his two new songs in country styles, “Texas Hold 'Em” and “16 Carriages”. Check out the promotional teaser:

“Act 2” arrives to be Beyoncé’s eighth studio album, which will possibly have 16 tracks, including the two recently released ones. “Renaissance” is divided into three acts, with the first released in July 2022 being nominated for a 2023 Grammy for best album of the year. Now its second part arrives at the end of March.

Super Bowl commercial

During the Super Bowl halftime, Beyoncé was in the spotlight in the commercial starring the singer in advertising for the American telephone company “Verizon”, showing the artist in Barbie roles, selling lemonade and even an artificial intelligence version of her. Advertising that had almost a minute of scenes of the artist was where the suspense of the release of the new songs began, where the singer ended saying “Okay, they're ready, release the music.” So, after releasing his two new tracks, check out the commercial:

Fans are still awaiting the announcement of the singer's shows in Brazil, following rumors and the visit that the artist made to Salvador in December 2023 to participate in a preview event for her documentary “Renaissance: A film by Beyoncé”.
