Beyoncé's new album cover released

Beyoncé released this Tuesday, February 19, on her Instagram, the cover of her next album, “Cowboy Carter”. In the image, Bey appears riding a white horse, dressed in a country look from head to toe and a band on her chest with the name of the album.

Reflection

In a long text in the caption, Beyoncé says: “Today marks the 10-day countdown until the release of act II. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the supporters of 'TEXAS HOLD 'EM' and '16 CARRIAGES'. I am honored to be the first black woman with a number one single on the Hot Country Songs chart. This would not have happened without the support of each of you. My hope is that years from now, mentioning an artist's race, when it comes to releasing music genres, will be irrelevant.”

Bey also says that this album took five years to produce, and was born from a personal experience, where the singer did not feel welcomed. And she adds, “But because of this experience, I delved deeper into the history of country music and studied our rich musical archive. It's great to see how music can unite so many people around the world, while also amplifying the voices of some of the people who have dedicated so much of their lives to educating about our musical history.”.

Beyoncé ended the text talking about gender criticism, limitations to be overcome and how this all challenged her to mix musical genres. The diva ended the text in an affectionate way: “I hope you can hear my heart and my soul, and all the love and passion I put into every detail and every sound.”.

Possible country classic on the album

One of the songs that is expected to have made it onto the album is the classic “Jolene,” by country queen Dolly Parton. Because the song has already been released by Dolly to Beyoncé. “I think she recorded 'Jolene' and I believe it will probably be on her country album. I’m really excited about it”said Dolly in an interview with the website “Knox News”.

The album will be released in 10 days.
