Carnival: Vai na Fé actor leaves induced coma after accident

Orlando Caldeira, who was in the cast of Vai na Fé, on TV Globo, as Anthony Verão, was the victim of a traffic accident. The case occurred in the early hours of last Sunday, February 11, in Salvador. The actor, director and producer is admitted to the State General Hospital (HGE).

In updates on the case this Wednesday, February 14, it was learned that the artist was extubated, that is, the Vai na Fé actor leaves an induced coma. The information comes from agent and actor Bruno Guimarães, who accompanies Orlando at HGE.

“He was extubated this afternoon and woke up from the coma. He is still quite drowsy, but he already has a very good level of consciousness for this moment”, he said, in short. In fact, it was Bruno who reported the accident and provided the first information.

“We have overcome an important stage, but he still has a way to go until his full recovery”, he reinforced through a statement on social media. “Dear ones, thank you for the chains of prayers and floods of positive energy”, he finally thanked.

When he suffered the accident, Orlando Caldeira was in Salvador enjoying Carnival. His last work as an actor was, as we said previously, in the soap opera Vai na Fé, where he played Fofoqueiro Anthony Verão.

According to the State Health Department, responsible for administering the hospital, the actor, who is left in an induced coma, was welcomed by the hospital and is receiving all necessary care.
