With a revenue of US$262.8 million, the work surpassed productions such as “Annabelle” and “Talk to me” 2022. Released on September 7 in Brazil, the film is full of scares, dark elements and the fearsome appearance of Valak, a demon who presents himself as a nun and intimidates the plot's characters and spectators.

Big names make up the team for “The Nun 2”

The film tells the story of a mysterious murder that took place in French territory in the 1950s, where evil follows sister Irene. In addition to featuring the director of 'The Weeping Curse', the film features Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell and Katelyn Rose Downey.

Directed by Michael Chaves, the film once again brought beloved characters to the public such as those played by Taissa Farmiga and Bonnie Aarons. Given the enormous success and public engagement, there is already speculation about a possible continuation. After all, despite the events of the second film, fans believe that Valak, the central demon of the plot, could return for more confrontations, considering his continued presence in other titles in the franchise.
