How to Create a LinkedIn Group Using a PC Browser

Time needed: 3 minutes

Access your account
First, on the left side of the LinkedIn home screen, click on the “Groups” section.
Proceed with the appeal
Then, on the next page, click “Create group”.
Define the details
In the window that opens, define the “Group name”, “Description” and other administration and configuration details. To add illustrative images of the group, click on the small pencil icons. Finally, click on “Create”.

How to delete a group via PC browser

Important: Only group owners can delete a group.

Access your LinkedIn account:

First, open the groups area on the left side of the home screen;
On the next page, enter the group you want to delete;
Then, click on the pencil icon just below the banner;
At the bottom of the “Edit Group” window, click “Delete this group”;
Finally, confirm the action with “Delete group”.

How to create a group on LinkedIn through the app

1. Enter the platform

First, at the top of your LinkedIn home screen, tap your account icon. Then, in the tab on the left, tap the “Groups” option.

2. Define the requested data

Then, in the upper area of the next area, tap “Create”. Then, write the group information, select the images and finally tap “Create” again.

Important: It is not possible to delete a group via the app. To do so, group owners must log in to LinkedIn via their desktop web browser.
