Netflix adds popular card game – Streaming service Netflix has presented four new games. Three of them are directly playable via the service, a new Exploding Kittens game will follow on May 31.
Exploding Kittens is a popular card game, where people draw cards from a stack and try to avoid taking the card with an exploding cat. With the help of other cards, they can try to influence the game and put a heel on other players.
The Netflix game revolves around the same principle, but includes two new cards. That Netflix comes with an Exploding Kittens game is not surprising. Next year, an animated series based on the game will be released.
Netflix has also added Dragon Up, an adventure game in which players must collect dragons to save a kingdom. In addition, there is the game Townsmen: A Kingdom Rebuilt, in which financial decisions must be made to keep the inhabitants of a medieval town happy.
Finally, Moonlighter was presented. In this role-playing adventure, players take on the role of a shop owner, who sells items during the day and investigates caves and defeats monsters at night.
The games can be found in the Games tab on Netflix. After selecting a title, the game can be downloaded for free from google or apple’s app store.
Netflix now has more than twenty mobile games in its offer. The company sees these games as an important expansion for its film and series offerings.
