Last Friday (19), player Neymar paid tribute to his daughter Helena, the result of his extramarital affair with model Amanda Kimberlly. The player, who currently plays for Al-Hilal, in Saudi Arabia, had his post covered by the press around the world.

Although he did not publicly reveal Helena's paternity, the player received congratulations from friends and fans on social media.

Controversies

The 32-year-old player's life is surrounded by controversy. Revealed by Santos FC in 2009 and carrying the title of football's “bad boy”, Neymar has had some controversies in his career. Among which are:

The athlete divided opinions among his fans when he declared his support for presidential candidate Jair Bolsonaro (PL) during the 2022 elections. He even stated that, if he scored a goal in that year's World Cup, he would honor Bolsonaro with the number “22”, which is the former president’s candidacy number at the polls. The promise, on the other hand, was not fulfilled.

Recently, the player was involved in yet another controversy, this time with actress and presenter Luana Piovani. The reason would be due to a project that is being processed in court and, according to the actress, the player has benefited from it. The so-called PEC das Praias aims to remove exclusive ownership of so-called marine land from the Union. Since then, the actress has been calling Neymar a “terrible citizen”, while the player in response calls her “crazy”. The controversy began because Neymar announced a partnership with a construction company for a seaside condominium, which the company and the player deny.
