There are rumors of a new collaboration between Anitta and The Weeknd, after the emergence of a musical record

This Friday (2), Anitta's admirers discovered that a track by the Brazilian artist with The Weeknd was recorded. The Canadian singer, who will perform in São Paulo in September, has a show scheduled in the city. The song, titled “São Paulo“, appeared in the database of the composers society, which protects copyright in the music industry. The record shows that Larissa de Macedo Machado, known as Anitta, and Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd, are credited as composers of the track, along with with Raphael dos Santos Agostinho as third author.

After repercussion on social media, Anitta posted a story on her Instagram, implying that the future collaboration already registered was a secret and unfortunately it ended up going viral

Show in São Paulo

The Weeknd announced a unique and exclusive show in São Paulo, Brazil, on Friday, September 7, 2024, at Morumbi Stadium. The singer, who came to Brazil last year and visited Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo, promises to return to Brazil for an unprecedented show, debuting a production never seen before. And the rumors of a collaboration only get even stronger when it is remembered that The Weeknd has already mentioned the singer several times in one of his songs. During the performance, they noticed that he apparently changed the lyrics of the hit 'Party Monster'.
