This new app puts chatgpt, perplexity and wikipedia on the same map

When I think of my favorite technology tools, I usually divide them into two groups: the “classic” apps, which we have used and trust for years, and the latest artificial intelligence that have emerged to solve very specific problems.

But lately, I have realized that the most interesting solutions are those that unite the best of both worlds, creating something totally new and more efficient.

And that is exactly what this new tool offers. THE Pampam It is an app that acts as a more turbocharged version of Google Maps, integrating chatgpt, perplexity, wikipedia and other sources of information. The result? A fascinating new way of exploring the world around you.

Let me explain: I mentioned that this service is new, and it is true-it was released a few days ago, so you probably don't know it yet. But it has a connection with a platform I mentioned before: Pampam, which is one of my favorite findings of 2024.

When using it, you get detailed recommendations in seconds, with places displayed on an interactive map and extra information on a sidebar, as well as a number of new AI-based features.

How does it work in practice?

When opening the pampam, just type what you want to find or do – without worrying about complicated formats or requirements.

By default, the service seeks information on chatgpt and wikipedia. But if you want to expand the search, just activate other sources, such as perplexity and foursquare, with just one click.

For example, I ordered tours and restaurant suggestions for a day in Pasadena, California, considering a family with seven and nine -year -olds.

In a few seconds, the application has presented several detailed recommendations, with places located on an interactive map and extra information on the sidebar.

When you click any point on the map or a suggestion on the sidebar, you can see more details from Wikipedia and receive new recommendations from ChatgPT and other activated sources.

And all this on the same screen, without having to open extra windows or login in other services. The experience is fluid, organized and gathers information from different sources intuitively.

To use the service, just log in with a Google account – a process that takes a few seconds. After that, just start exploring what the platform has to offer (works in Portuguese).

And the best part? It's free.
