Telegram blocked in Brazil
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro is not happy about the decision of the supreme court to block the telegram messaging service in Brazil.
According to him, the ruling is “inadmissible” and would endanger the “freedom of Brazilians”.
A judge decided to block Telegram because the company refused to remove messages that, in his eyes, contained disinformation.
“The judge did not act against the two or three people who he thought should be blocked, so he decided to hit 70 million people.
What is at stake is our freedom,” Bolsonaro said.

Telegram is one of the main channels that the right-wing politician uses for his election campaign. He hopes to be re-elected president in October.
