Paramount+ did not release an official reason for the cancellation, limiting itself to stating that the “iCarly” revival had “a great three-season run and delivered what fans really wanted to see, with Carly and Freddie finally getting together.” A spokesperson for the streaming service also thanked the cast, writers, directors and crew for their dedication, creativity and talent.
Despite the cancellation, all three seasons of the “iCarly” revival remain available to fans on Paramount+. The uncertainty about the final fate of the characters leaves room for hope that, somehow, the story can be resumed in the future.
