Ludmilla on Palco Mundo and The Town: Confirmed!

Ludmilla was announced in the line up of the first edition of The Town and the next Rock in Rio, already scheduled for 2024. This time, the star will be on the World Stage of the event. Ludmilla has already won a permanent seat at several festivals across the country.

The City Festival will take place at the Autódromo de Interlagos, in São Paulo, on the 2nd, 3rd, 7th, 9th and 10th of September. IZA and Criolo are already confirmed attractions. Lud and Foo Fighters were also announced as attractions for the festival's grand debut.

“That's it, my people. I'm confirmed at The Town and Palco Mundo at Rock in Rio. It's my moment. I'm feeling so happy and so honored. Finally being recognized for my art, for my work and I will deliver a super show at both festivals. My team and I are already preparing amazing things. The voice of the “Rainha da Favela” star told how the invitation to the shows happened. “After my show at Rock in Rio, it didn't take long for me to receive a call from Roberto Medina, creator of the festival, and I was very moved when he said that mine was one of the best shows he had ever seen,” she said.

Ludmilla says that her name began to be considered on the World Stage at Rock in Rio and on the Skyline Stage at The Town. “Since that day, I have kept this, with a great desire to tell the world that, in 2024, we will be together on the main stage of one of the biggest festivals in the world”

Ludmilla was nominated twice for a Latin Grammy. She has won the MTV Europe Music Award for Best Brazilian Artist six times. She won the Multishow Award twice, in 2019.

Zé Ricardo, artistic director of The Town and Rock in Rio, reinforces that Ludmilla's announcement is a gift for fans. “Ludmilla is today one of the greatest Brazilian artists who carries, in addition to all her artistic talent, the representation of a black, bisexual woman, from the periphery”, said Ze.
