Activision has fixed matchmaking issues that were plaguing servers for older Call of Duty Xbox 360 games, following many player complaints about this over the last few years on titles like Call of Duty: Black Ops and the original Modern Warfare 2 .
Now that the servers are back up and running correctly, the number of users on Call of Duty: Black Ops has exploded, reaching over 100,000 people.
That doesn’t mean multiple Xbox 360 consoles are being used to play the game, though. Thanks to backwards compatibility, you can play these titles on Xbox One and Xbox Series by simply inserting your game disc or installing a digital copy. All the progress made on Xbox 360 will also be there for you to pick up where you left off over a decade ago.
Unfortunately, not everything is rosy, as some latency issues with commands when playing on Xbox Series are negatively affecting the experience, as pointed out by the website GameRant. Let’s just hope this gets fixed soon.
