Ivete Sangalo Breaks Tie with Fbio Almeida

Axé singer Ivete Sangalo and businessman Fábio Almeida have worked together for more than 12 years, but dissatisfaction with access to financial statements was the reason for the two to break up the Iessi Music partnership. According to columnist Mônica Bergamo from Folha de S. Paulo, the two were only communicating through lawyers.

Ivete's former manager was reportedly upset because he did not have access to the company's financial statements and was unable to measure risks and opportunities in commercial agreements. Furthermore, he and Ivete would have disagreed about what the singer's professional future would be like, he was able to make agreements, but had no control over how the expenses were made.

The two are partners in the company Iessi Music, which takes care of Ivete's career and that of her sister Cynthia Sangalo. Before Fábio Almeida was responsible for Ivete, the singer's brother, Jesus Sangalo was her manager, but ended up being fired due to suspicion of embezzlement in the production company that managed Ivete's career. The two worked for 15 years before Jesus stopped being his sister's manager, he always denied involvement in fraud and embezzlement.

Jesus Sangalo was in the process of getting closer to his sister when he passed away in 2019. Fábio's departure would also have been caused by him feeling devalued and being bothered by Ivete and Cynthia's temperament. According to Mônica Bergamo, the problem began after some debts were paid from the singer's former management and the two changed their behavior towards Fábio Almeida.

Fábio announced his desire to leave the company in December 2022 and now only communicates with Ivete Sangalo through lawyers, the former businessman is also no longer part of a partnership at a children's school that he had with the singer in the capital of Bahia , Savior.
