Chocolate With Pepper: Bernardo feels ashamed to walk on the street

In “Chocolate Com Pimenta“, a soap opera that is being rerun by Rede Globo, Bernardo (Kayky Brito) found out he’s a man after being raised his entire life as a girl.

In the chapter of Thursday, April 13, the boy feels embarrassed with everyone in the city commenting on the case and has the support of Ana Francisca (Mariana Ximenes) and Daniel (Murilo Benicio).

Ana Francisca takes Bernardo to her house. Danilo, Miguel and Beto accompany him, as he is too embarrassed to walk down the street. Fabrício wants to know if the doctor can fix it and Father Eurico tells him to confess. Margarido smacks Bernardo because he saw Mocinha change her clothes several times. Cássia is surprised by the revelation that her best friend is a man. Inacia defends Candida. The whole town talks about the unexpected sex change. Danilo predicts confusion when he learns that Bernardo saw Cássia with almost no clothes on. Jezebel gives up suing Cândida, just not to spend money. Sebastian pressures Jezebel to join him and Olga. Bernardo knocks on Cássia’s house.

“Chocolate com Pimenta” is a Brazilian soap opera, which originally aired from September 8, 2003 to May 7, 2004, on TV Globo. It was written by Walcyr Carrasco in collaboration with Thelma Guedes and general direction by Fabrício Mamberti, with core direction by Jorge Fernando. It is inspired by the work “The Cheerful Widow”, by Franz Lehár.
