The First Lady's schedule has not yet been released, but it is expected that Janja will take advantage of the trip to carry out actions aimed at the global alliance against hunger and poverty.

Olympics participation credentials

The Brazilian government missed the deadline to request credentials to represent the country at the Paris Olympics. The request was made in a hurry, about 15 days before the opening ceremony, so that First Lady Janja could represent President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) in the Brazilian delegation together with Sports Minister André Fufuca. According to the website “Poder 360”, the request for credentials was approved by the IOC (International Olympic Committee) without any major problems, but was considered an exception because she did not hold a high public office.
