Microsoft unveils Barbie-themed Xbox Series S

Microsoft announced who will be giving away a special Xbox Series S made to look like a Barbie Dream House. The console was created for a competition that will take place on the Xbox Twitter account and Microsoft Rewards page on July 10th.

Players will also have the chance to earn custom controllers, with designs made to look like Barbie and Ken’s outfits.

Both the console and controllers are part of a series of events being held by Xbox to promote the Barbie movie.

Players in Forza Horizon 5 can claim two doll-themed cars, including the 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV Corvette – painted in her signature pink hue – and a 2022 GMC Hummer EV pickup truck.

To get the cars, just download them from the game’s Message Center and they’ll appear in your garage, ready to be used.

Xbox is excited to team up with Warner Bros. Pictures “Barbie” and Mattel to celebrate the iconic doll-size heroine’s journey of self-discovery with a variety of activations, @ForzaHorizon in-game content and giveaways:

There will also be a video premiere as part of a live stream on July 14 on World of Barbie, where fans will be able to learn more about the Barbie movie and see the hosts race Barbie and Ken from the movie in Forza Horizon. 5.

Lastly, Xbox will host an international giveaway in which fans can win one of ten special Barbie dolls. It has not been revealed when this will take place.
