NBA playoff summary

Friday the 21st was hectic at NBA. Celtics, Nuggets, Knicks, Cavaliers, Hawks and Timberwolves entered the court to try to take another important step towards the next stage of the playoffs. However, last night’s results were not very pleasant for one of the favorites for the title of the main basketball league in the world. That’s because, Boston wasted the chance to get even closer to a classification.

The Celtics were first on the court during the last round of the NBA playoffs. Boston took on the Hawks and took the court with a 2-0 lead on aggregate. The expectation was that the team would get its third victory and move on to the next stage of the competition. But that wasn’t quite what happened and the disappointment was great.

With an inspired Trae Young, the Celtics saw the Hawks leave with a victory of 130 to 122. The Atlanta star stole the show, had 32 points and still conceded nine assists, in addition to having taken six rebounds. Smart and Tatum had a good performance and got 24 and 29 points each, but it was not enough for the victory of the Boston team. With that, the aggregate is at 2 to 1.

Already in a game with fewer points, the Knicks returned to give a great response inside the courts and took the second victory over the Cavaliers. Barret and Brunson took responsibility and went after Cleveland’s rivals. The duo, in number of points added together, scored 40 points.
