Several people were injured on Wednesday evening in a stabbing at the asylum seekers’ center in Echt (Limburg). The police report that they have arrested one suspect.
The stabbing happened around 10:15 PM. A spokesperson was unable to comment on the nature of the injuries and how many people were injured exactly.
The emergency services have raised the alarm. In addition to the police, several ambulances and the fire brigade are on site. A trauma helicopter has also been called up. The reason for the stabbing was, the police could not yet say.
