Invasion of fans

The Champions League final between Borussia Dortmund and Real Madrid was interrupted seconds after the opening whistle due to a pitch invasion. Three men entered the lawn at Wembley Stadium in London, stopping the match for around two minutes until they were removed. One of the attackers tried to take a selfie with Vinicius Junior.

The invaders were not identified with the colors of either of the two finalist clubs. Borussia Dortmund midfielder Sabitzer helped Wembley staff capture one of the intruders. One of the men ran across the field and imitated the famous celebration of Real Madrid idol Cristiano Ronaldo.

Two of the attackers were wearing shirts with the name of the controversial streamer Mellstroy, from Belarus. The international broadcast signal of the final avoided showing the invasion. Coaches Carlo Ancelotti, from Real Madrid, and Edin Terzic, from Borussia Dortmund, expressed irritation at the delay in the retreat of the invaders, which interrupted the final. After the break, a new invasion was heard, delaying the restart of the game for a few seconds. At the end of the first half, a message appeared on Werbley's screen warning that further invasions could lead to arrest.

Who is Mellstory?

In the digital world, the name of Andrey Burim, known as Mellstroy, gained prominence. The Russian streamer promised a prize of 300 thousand pounds to whoever invaded the pitch in the Champions League final with his name printed on a shirt. Mellstroy's trajectory is marked by several controversies. Banned from platforms such as Twitch and Facebook, the streamer generated international headlines in 2020. On that occasion, he pleased 21-year-old model Alena Efremova during one of his live broadcasts. Despite what happened, her sentence was 6 months of corrective work.

The streamer's style is famous for a mix of ostentation and offensive humor, he currently focuses on paid challenges in different parts of the world. The news about the payment of the prize promised to the invaders of the field has not yet been confirmed. However, it is expected that the three involved will be banned from attending stadiums across Europe.
