Bet of the Brazilian National Team for the World Cup and musical partnership with Marta

Geyse Ferreira is heading to her second World Cup. In 2019, in the first one, according to her, she did not get the desired income. This year, the athlete guarantees that she will arrive in a very different period and reinforces the support that she currently has received as one of the fundamental points in her performance in this phase.

A great partner in the separate works of the team is the player Marta, who has also been preserved in the same way. The number 10 shirt also became a musical partner. Murilo Fernades, a friend of Geyse, created a song to rock his performances at the World Cup. The queen not only played the song only on the guitar, but also gave opinions to improve the music, suggestions that were readily accepted.

“(…) Then I showed it to Marta, which is connected to 250v. On the same day, they picked up the lyrics, started playing on the guitar and almost every day we are picking them up to learn the lyrics (…) “said Geyse.

The attacker has trained with the team normally for the past two years. Preservation is part of a procedure to prevent further wear. Geyse tells that it was an option of the medical department itself to be able to reach 100% in the opening of the World Cup on the 24th of this month in Adelaide, against Panama.

“I fought to have a little respect in here and I got my place by never passing over, but working every day to have the opportunity and to have that sequence that I’ve been having in the Selection (…)”said the player.

The music may even receive a very special choreography if Geyse scores goals in the World Cup. The attacker confided that the dances are in charge of Aline Gomes and Kathellen.
