Conan Gray releases 'Superache' lead single

How are your memories? During the early hours of this Friday (15), Conan Gray spread his painful memories throughout the world with the release of the lead-single from his future album, titled “Superache”. “Memories” is now available on all digital platforms and its music video is on YouTube.

The 'sad boy' who is one of the biggest bets on the current pop scene, at just 23 years old, is heading towards his second album. For the artist, the “Superache”, which follows his debut album “Kid Krow”, brings everything he was afraid to say on his first album. “Kid Krow was just my introduction. I wrote it when I was a teenager and I was just saying hello and introducing myself.”he revealed to People. “There are times when I really had to think, what are the things I don't want to say? And in the end, the answer ended up being nothing”continued.

In “Memories,” Gray details the breakdown of a relationship and failed attempts to stay together. The artist says that the inspiration for the track came from a dinner with a friend who wanted to call her ex because she missed him. “I was like, 'Well, you broke up with him, so maybe you shouldn't text him. Maybe you should actually leave him alone and let him rest and let him get over you.' It made me think about all the times people have sent me messages I wish they hadn't.”he said.

The track is the longest in the singer's discography, at 4 minutes and 8 seconds long. His clip, which lasts 4 minutes and 50 seconds, in 19 hours since its debut on the YouTube platform, has accumulated more than 520 thousand views.
