Plug the modem cable into your router
First connect the modem's network cable to your router's RJ45 internet input. The port is on the back of the equipment and will always be a different color from the other available ports on your router. This port is usually marked with the word 'internet', 'WAN' or simply an @, as can be seen below.
Now connect your router to your computer
Now connect the router to your computer into one of the LAN ports – usually marked with numbers using a network cable. After connection, see that the LED corresponding to the port number you connected will light up.
Open your router settings on PC
Then, using an internet browser of your choice, type the Intelbras default IP directly into the address bar, which will be 10.0.0.1 accompanied by the username 'admin' and the password 'admin' (without the quotation marks).
Change your router password
Then, after entering the username and password, the user will be directed to the router's menu screen. Next, click on the 'wireless' option and change the name of your network where it says SSID and enter the name you prefer and click 'Save'.
Create a password to your liking
Scroll to 'Wireless', then click 'Security'. Enter a password of your choice in the 'PSK Password' tab and click 'Save'. Remember, you must enter the password in the WPA-PSK/ WPA2- PSK option.
Restart the router
Finally, you click 'Reset' to validate all the settings you saved and made.
