Kardashian has deliberately kept quiet so far, she says Monday on Twitter. “Not because I wasn’t disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaign, but because I wanted to speak to the team to understand how this could happen.”
The reality star says that as a mother of four children, she is very shocked by the images. The photos also showed bdsm attributes and a computer with a document on the screen that refers to a lawsuit about child pornography legislation.
Balenciaga apologized after the uproar, took the campaign offline and said it would take legal action against the people responsible for decorating the set. Kardashian thinks that the Spanish fashion house understands the seriousness of the situation.
The 42-year-old reality star is going to think about whether she wants to continue working with Balenciaga. She will base her decision on the way the fashion house “takes responsibility for something that should never have happened”. She is also curious about the actions that the company will take in the field of “protection of children”.
