Matteus is the target of criticism for traveling to Amazonas during a tragedy in RS

Former brother Matteus traveled to Amazonas in order to meet Isabelle, also ex-BBB, with whom he is having a romance. In light of the trip, the gaucho received a lot of criticism, after all, the state in which he lives is going through difficult times due to the rains that hit it. However, Matteus, who is from the city of Alegrete in Rio Grande do Sul, was not indifferent to the situation, he started a mobilization to help flood victims and has been encouraging those who follow him to do the same.

After several criticisms directed at the gaucho, his followers continued to defend him, “Matteus is not governor, nor president, even so he does a lot for the south and continues to do so, but now he went to see his loved one” said a follower, “People are criticizing Matteus for traveling, go see what this guy does for his people, he is a source of pride for Rio Grande do Sul”, said another internet user in defense of the ex-BBB.

The mobilization

Through his social networks, Matteus used the visibility he gained on the reality show to ask for help for the victims of Rio Grande do Sul, he promoted an online fundraiser that to date has raised more than 28 million in reais, which will be used to help people affected by floods in the state.

During his participation in the Mais Você program, the gaucho said that he is traveling through Amazonas and that he would go to Rio for work, but that he would return to Alegrete as soon as he could. “I had some commitments here in Manaus, today I'm going to Rio de Janeiro for some appointments, but soon I'm going back to Rio Grande do Sul”said the ex-BBB. He also said that he is in a troubled moment and his hands are tied, he says he doesn't believe what is happening, that he tries to help everyone, but there is a lot going on, and that it is sad, that a lot of people need to be rescued, they need warm clothes , water, blankets, and it is a desperate situation.
