MD Chef is the first Brazilian singer to win exclusive category at the Bet Awards

This Sunday (26), singer MD Chef won the award for best international artist at the Bet Awards 2022 in Los Angeles, United States. The event has the largest edition of African-American awards, which stands out in the areas of music, sport and audiovisual.

In addition to MD Chef, singer and songwriter Ludmilla is representing Brazil in the category of best international artist. North American artist Doja Cat is the champion in the nominations and singers Drake and Ari compete in four categories.

With more than 1 million listeners on the Spotify digital platform, MD Chef began his journey in the battles of Rio de Janeiro. She managed to achieve visibility with her songs. The artist became known worldwide mainly for the songs Rei Lacoste and Tiffany.
