See the cities in an emergency situation!

Five cities in the state of Santa Catarina, until the night of last Thursday (13), declared an emergency situation due to the damage caused by the passage of the extratropical cyclone in the State. According to the Civil Defense of SC, more than 80 cities reported damage and damage due to the meteorological phenomenon.

According to the agency’s report at 8 pm on Thursday, the cities of Araquari, Entre Rios, Flor do Sertão, Maravilha and Iraceminha issued official communiqués on the emergency situation. The city of Garuva should also issue a decree, as stated by the State Civil Defense.

Because of the cyclone, a man died in the city of Brusque, in the Itajaí Valley. The worker was maintaining the telephone network when he was hit by a tree.

Two women were trampled after a PVC wall collapsed in a company and employees ran in the city of Navegantes, on the North Coast of Santa Catarina.

The agency states the forecast for a large part of Rio Grande do Sul and on the coast of Santa Catarina will rain more than 60 millimeters per hour or more than 100 millimeters per day, in addition to winds greater than 100 km/h, hail, risk of damage to buildings, among other inconveniences.
