Arnold Schwarzenegger reveals his investments

Even though he came from a poor family, Arnold Schwarzenegger became a billionaire. With various forms of investment, he was mostly successful, having minimal losses.

Known mainly for being a famous and highly successful actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger, in addition to various facets in life, such as a bodybuilder, politician and also an excellent investor, is now a billionaire.

But Schwarzenegger was not born with a silver spoon. In fact, he was born into a poor family, in the Austrian village of Thall, in which after a while he learned of his father Gustav Schwarzenegger's Nazi past.

After starring in “The Terminator”, he was crowned Mr Universe four times, and then, in politics, he assumed the position of governor of California. At the age of 76 he became a billionaire and over the course of a lifetime, in addition to being very busy, he has an estimated fortune of (U$1 billion), being (R$5.2 billion).

Schwarzenegger received around (U$500 million), (R$2.6 billion) by starring in at least 50 films that grossed around (U$5.5 billion), (R$28 million) at the box office. And yet, he received millions in products and also commercials. However, much of what he earned from entertainment remained in fees and taxes, leaving him with (U$170 million), (R$885 million).

Over the course of 30 years, Schwarzenegger was a successful actor in 13 films, grossing ($200 million) (R$1 billion) at the box office.

Healthy risk appetite

As mentioned in his book “Total Recall”, his healthy appetite for risks, seeking interesting, creative and different investments, led him to financial success.

His investment in bodybuilding, and also real estate investments, financially improved what was already a path to enrichment, as he himself stated: “was already a millionaire before landing important roles in films in the 1970s “.

His investments have been diverse over the years, including commercial real estate, private equity and shares. Schwarzenegger has a financial advisor, Paul Wachter, founder of the company Main Street Advisors, of which the star is a client.

Buying and selling investments

A good investment result was the redevelopment of a block in Santa Mônica, which was sold for well above the investment. Also sold for a very considerable amount was a commercial building in Venice Beach.

Schwarzenegger has several other types of investments, as a business owner, investments in large companies, including within his knowledge, as he himself said, even cryptocurrencies. Like any other investor, he also had losses, but very few.
