Women of Sand: Raquel and Vanderlei are spotted together

In this Thursday’s episode, July 20, of Globo’s “Mulheres de Areia”, airs the scene where a flagrante delicto takes place and leaves three characters in a tight fit.

Of course, the vixen takes advantage of being in her land and goes to meet Vanderlei (Paulo Betti). What the two didn’t expect was the bust.

Floriano (Sebastian Vasconcelos) takes the two together and gives Vanderlei the biggest lecture.

Mulheres de Areia was originally shown between February 1st and September 25th, 1993. The plot was written by Ivani Ribeiro and was directed by Carlos Magalhães, Ignácio Coqueiro and Wolf Maya.

WHAT ELSE HAPPENS IN THIS THURSDAY’S CHAPTER

Andréa introduces herself to Raquel and Clarita is amazed to see them together. Virgílio asks Marcos to stay at his house after marrying Raquel, until he can build a house for them. At Virgílio’s request, Alaor goes to his house and finds Malu. Raquel goes back to Pontal and tells her mother about Marcos’ house. Afterwards, she meets with Vanderlei. Floriano catches the two together and fights with Vanderlei. Da Lua is desperate when he sees that the sculpture he had made of his friend Ruth has been destroyed.

Friday, July 21st

Floriano lectures Raquel on account of her having met Vanderlei. Furious, Raquel tells her father that Ruth is not a saint and that she has a secret. Ruth tells Raquel that she’s going to tell Marcos that she doesn’t like him and Raquel threatens her. Da Lua takes some caustic soda and tells Alzira that she is going to burn Raquel’s hand. Afterwards, he goes to Floriano’s house and enters without anyone seeing him. At that moment, Donato and the delegate arrive there. Da Lua asks Ruth to say that he went there because she asked for the chemical.

Monday, July 24th

To help her friend, Ruth confirms Da Lua’s version. The delegate decides to leave. Malu proposes a gymkhana to her friends where each one has to take an animal they find on the street to her house. Da Lua tells Glorinha that Ruth made the police chief and Floriano believe in him. Ruth cries after arguing with Raquel over Marcos. Clarita and Arlete give up going into the house after seeing Virgílio’s mansion full of animals. Malu introduces Alaor as the animal she found on the street.
