Fuzuê: Meet the Braga e Silva family, who runs the plot’s title store

With some differences in interests, they can even fight each other, but they unite viscerally when someone tries to harm one of them. These are the Braga e Silvas, the most popular and emotional family in “fuzuê”, the new 7pm telenovela on TV Globo, which debuts on August 14th.

Friendly and spontaneous, Nero has the typical joy of Brazilians and loves to dress in many colors and accessories. Known as Imperador, the owner of Fuzuê runs the store with his children Francisco (Michel Joelsas) and Alicia (Fernanda Rodrigues).

Nero’s youngest son, Francisco is a charismatic and communicative guy, who doesn’t skimp when it comes to having fun. Vain, he feels prepared to take over Fuzuê and tries to impress his father to prove that he can be a good successor.

However, he feels a little insecure and lacking in relation to his brother Miguel (Nicolas Prattes), who lives in Portugal and is Nero’s favorite to run the store. Hero of the story, Miguel, who lived repressed by his father’s control, returns to Brazil after four years in Portuguese lands to try to reframe this relationship.

ALÍCIA AND CLAUDIO

Who is extremely excited and involved with Fuzuê’s affairs is Alicia, who is as eccentric as her father, but dreams of joining high society. The thing is, she has no business acumen. Alicia is the current Queen of Fuzuê, the poster girl for the store, where she has worked for years. She is outgoing and addicted to social media. She also has the desire to ‘gourmetize’ the store and abandon the image of a bagaceira heiress once and for all.

Very attached to the family, Alicia takes care of her father with great devotion and is somewhat maternal towards her siblings. She is married to Claudio (Douglas Silva), a cheerful, good guy, who loves his wife and embarks on his madness. A self-confessed nerd, he is fascinated by research and mystery stories and works in the development of mobile games.

VALENTINA AND CONCEIÇÃO

Claudio and Alicia are the parents of little Valentina (Maria Flor Samarão), a smart, articulate girl who, unlike her father, does not take her mother’s ideas seriously and tends to act more maturely than her mother. Vegetarian, Valentina is interested in causes in favor of the planet and knowledge about spirituality.

Completing the Fuzuê family troupe is Conceição (Bia Montez), the housekeeper of the Braga e Silva family. A friend of Nero’s since the days of the fair, Conceição raised Miguel, Francisco and Alicia and is very protective of the family and adviser to all. That person everyone likes to have around.

“Fuzuê” is created and written by Gustavo Reiz, with artistic direction by Fabricio Mamberti. The work is written in collaboration with João Brandão, Juliana Peres and Michel Carvalho, and is directed by Adriano Melo and directed by Bernardo Sá, Nathalia Ribas and Glenda Nicácio.
