Vai na Fé: Lumiar decides to take a sabbatical after Dora dies of cancer

In “go in faith”, from TV Globo, Dora (Claudia Ohana) had the unforgettable show he asked Lui (Jose Loreto), with the right to participate in Lulu Santosand his last days of life, stemming from terminal cancer, are going as he wished: in the Refuge, surrounded by the people he loves.

Supported by an oxygen cylinder and extra doses of medication, Lumiar’s mother (Caroline Dieckmann) spends her days more sleepy and fragile, which does not prevent her, however, from performing a blessing ceremony for Guiga’s daughter (Mayan honey) and Yuri (Jean Paulo Campos).

At the Refúgio, the group gathers to say their wishes for the baby, while Guiga, of course, broadcasts the moment on social networks and makes money with the publications. Lumiar is touched by her mother’s words and reflects on her decision not to give Dora a grandson.

OFFICIAL FAREWELL, DEATH AND BEGINNING

Doctor Mauri (Gilberto Filho) warns Fabio (Ze Carlos Machado), Lumiar and Lui about Dora’s condition and says that nothing else can be done for her. In the days that pass, the family surrounds her with love and care, until the day of her death, which happens in a serene way. At Dora’s farewell ceremony, Lui remembers Lumiar’s mother’s last request and invites everyone to sing a Carnival song with him.

The mother’s departure affects Lumiar. Looking at the trailer that belonged to the parents, the lawyer confides to Ben (Samuel of Assisi) about your intention to take a sabbatical to rethink your choices. Determined to give her life a new direction, Lumiar returns to Rio de Janeiro with the plan to sell her apartment, transfer her clients from the office and finish the semester at ICAES.
