Israeli account responds to Gigi Hadid after the model supports the Palestinian people

Model Gigi Hadid, 28, who is of Palestinian descent, spoke out on her social media criticizing Israel, and made a point of making it clear that she is on the side of Palestine. Israel's Instagram account didn't like Gigi's statement at all, and also made some criticisms directed at the model. Her sister, Bella Hadid, also spoke out saying that she stands with the Palestinian people with great pride.

Israeli government responds

The Israeli government did not like Gigi's statement and came on its social network this Sunday (15) to criticize the model, asking if she was sleeping during the last week and cannot see what the terrorist group Hamas has been doing with Jewish babies and several other situations of the events of the war. She also says that condemning Hamas is not being anti-Palestinian and that supporting Israel at this time would be the best thing to do.

War in Israel

The war began on October 7th (Saturday), when the Hamas group began attacking Israel, leaving many dead and injured over the last few weeks, being considered one of the worst attacks in recent years. The first to be affected were young people participating in an electronic music festival and many of them lost their lives.

Gigi's relationship with Palestinians

Gigi is the daughter of real estate developer Mohamed Hadid, who is Palestinian-American and, because of her descent, the model has always shown a lot of support and affection for the Palestinian people.

Bella Hadid, Gigi's sister, has also declared many times that she supports the Palestinian people and is on their side in this war.
