The Fate of the Vikings is in Your Hands

And it has finally arrived! The long-awaited “The Fate of Baldr”, that indie game you didn't even know you needed, is now available on Steam.

This kind of Viking tower defense with adventure, developed by the Norwegian studio Ananki Game Studiopromises to bring a lot of action, strategy and, of course, some good moments of “why the hell didn’t I think of that before?”.

Gameplay and Features

Come on, imagine yourself as a Viking warrior defending your ship against hordes of mythological enemies. Yes, that's right, you'll come face to face with gods and creatures that only Norse mythology could offer.

And as if that wasn't enough, you still have to mine resources and upgrade your defenses. Oh, and the icing on the cake? You can invite friends to play in online coop mode. After all, there's nothing like losing a friendship while trying to survive endless waves of enemies together.

New features such as fire towers, poison and special abilities ensure that each match is a new adventure (or misadventure). And with graphics so detailed that you can even see your enemies' tears (ok, maybe not that much), every visual element has been carefully crafted to completely immerse you in this world.

The Team Behind the Game

Now, let's get serious for a moment. Ananki Game Studio is made up of just three people. Yes, you read that right. André (the CEO and programmer), Asia (2D artist) and Anders (3D artist and programmer) are the wizards behind this project. With over 10 years of experience each, they managed to create something that feels like it was made by a much larger team.

We hope indie game supporters enjoy the unique experience we’ve created.” And we hope he's also enjoying a good night's sleep now that the game is finally out.
