Actor Defends Key Alves Against Starship Rumors

Actor Renato Shippee defended Key Alves after some rumors that the ex-BBB star had attacked São João da Thay, a June party promoted by Thaynara OG in Maranhão. The actor told his version of the story in the comments of a post on Instagram, which according to him was “next to the volleyball player the entire time” throughout the event.

“I stayed with her for most of the events that had photographers and what happened was that there was a photographer who took photos of the influencers and then wanted to ask the influencer to post them with several @. I think it's right to highlight the photographer's work. But some also wanted me to tag brands that they (photographers) were promoting. Influencer earns by publicity. No one should work for free. She and several other influencers chose not to use the photos. Photographer didn't like it and released it to the media to try to gain something from it. I witnessed it. That's it”, said Renato. After the artist's report, Key shared the statement written by him and commented: “The truth is there.”

About the case

Last week, Key Alves was named the most boring place in São João da Thay by journalist Lucas Pasin. Shortly before, some rumors that the player had closed herself off and refused to interact with new people at the event were already circulating on the internet.

According to the communicator, Alves remained “with a straight face” throughout the party and refused to talk about controversial topics. Pasin reported that they got along well, but she looked bad, and soon added that she could not comment on the controversy. Lucas also stated that the athlete complained a lot and it seemed that everything the press said to her bothered her.

Key Alves spoke out and stated that the accusations are false and revealed that he will speak out in all cases involving his name when it is a lie. “I will always come here and show who I am and the truth”. Key also emphasized that the whole of Brazil followed her during the TV Globo reality show and that everyone saw that she is humble.
