The Official Netflix Trailer

Netflix has released the trailer for its upcoming film, 'Red Alert', starring Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot and Ryan Reynolds. The film is an action-adventure comedy in which FBI agent John Hartley, played by Johnson, finds himself having to work with Reynolds' character, Nolan Booth, the second most wanted art thief in the world.

In the trailer, we see John apparently making a deal with Nolan to help him capture the world's most wanted art thief, known as “The Bishop”, played by Gadot. However, John ends up falling for a setup and being framed, becoming a wanted man by the authorities. Now, with the help of Nolan, who wants to get back to being the number one art thief, he must try to clear his name and catch the thief who caused so much trouble.

'Red Alert' was written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, making the film the third collaboration between Dwayne Johnson and the director. Johnson starred in the comedy 'A Spy and a Half', in 2016, and the action film 'Skyscraper: Limitless Courage' in 2018, both directed by Thurber. The new production is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 4, as it was originally produced by Universal Pictures, with Netflix having purchased the streaming rights. The film will be released on the platform a week after it hits theaters, on November 12.
