Tiago Iorc returns to the music scene with the release of “Daramô”

On Thursday night (3), singer Tiago Iorc released his new original work, “Daramô”, on digital platforms. Breaking a period in which he remained away from the spotlight, the composer returns to the music scene presenting ten tracks, six of which he wrote alongside his girlfriend, writer Duda Rodrigues.

The album, which was born from the need to “be together”, was developed and, according to the musician, inspired by the tropical landscapes of the coast of Bahia, in the cities of Salvador, Itacaré and Caraíva, where it was produced, as well as by sounds of nature. It is worth mentioning that the artist, who had recently returned from a series of “intimate” shows in cities in Spain, England and Portugal, held throughout the month of October, had been giving spoilers on their social networks about what was to come.

The new project marks his return to Som Livre, the record label through which the singer released his first five albums and experienced the commercial peak of his recording career, which began with the release of singles. “Scared” and “Nothing but a song”, both from 2007, 15 years ago. About this reunion the instrumentalist commented: “I have great affection for my history with Som Livre, which believed in me and dreamed with me from the beginning. It’s a beautiful journey that has allowed us to have mutual respect. I feel that both the label and I are in very aligned moments. I’m very happy with this reunion.”

Fans of the singer have reason to celebrate his return twice, because in addition to the new album, Tiago made it available on his channel: YouTube, the music video for the track chosen as the work song, “Saudade Boa”. About the song, the singer said: “It's a composition by me and Duda and it happened when she was going on a trip. It came about improvised, when trying to describe the good feeling of longing, the longing that brings affection and fills the chest. It's the track that best sums up the sound and energy of the album.” Watch the video:
