Gloria Coelho, iconic figure in national fashion, presented her collection at SPFW this Sunday

One of the biggest names in fashion in the country, Gloria Coelho, presented this Sunday morning (14), at the Nara Roesler art gallery, in São Paulo, the parade of her new summer collection entitled “Léxicos”. The event kicked off celebrations of the brand's five decades.

The choice of the art space reflects the designer's constant quest to create an original design that interacts with different creative media. Works by artists Tomie Ohtake, Asuka Anastacia Ogawa and Olafur Eliasson were displayed alongside the brand's creations.

Another surprise in the show points to the future: the creator received an invitation from Peck Advogados, a pioneering office in Digital Innovation, to develop clothes for robots. The first model of this partnership was presented during the fashion show.

“Just as Alice's Rabbit tirelessly pursues time in his work, Gloria's rabbit celebrates the gesture that immortalizes an instant, capturing the essence of the ephemeral in his timeless creations.” Comments art curator Marcello Dantas.

The show was opened by Livia Nunes, a rising name in Brazilian fashion, who attracted attention for her creativity and freshness. “I always wanted to expand and challenge myself, showing at Fashion Week was one of my dreams and I was extremely happy with this invitation from Gloria, I decided to accept, it means a new step in my career”, says Lívia Nunes.

The event featured the beauty of Wanderley and supporters and partners such as Matri bags, Marina Schaffa jewelry, Breton furniture, Tapetah rugs, Pliè lingerie, Nuó tiaras, Ketel One Botanical drinks and Repreve fabric.
