Adele releases video for 'Oh My God', track from her latest album '30'

Adele released this Wednesday (12), the video clip for the track “Oh meu deus“. The song is part of his latest album released, “30″, and continues to promote the album. The clip had more than 10 million views in less than 24 hours and is among the “trending” videos in Brazil on YouTube, being a more danceable and lively work than the previous ones.

The disk “30″ was released in November 2021 and marked Adele's return to the music industry, after a break of a few years. the album was her fourth studio release and broke several records on the world charts, including: number of records and vinyls sold in 2021, in addition to number 1 on the British and Billboard charts. The album's first single was the track “Easy on me” and now, Adele starts promoting the song “Oh meu deus“.

The video was produced by director Sam Brown, also responsible for the video for “Rolling In The Deep”, and was filmed in a sequence shot that features different sets, costumes, interpretations and dancers. The clip is animated and made in black and white colors. The lively atmosphere differs from other videos released by the British singer.

The song's lyrics also highlight the atmosphere present in the clip, as in the following excerpts: “I know it's wrong, but I want to have fun” It is “Maybe, baby, I'm just losing my mind because this is such trouble, but it feels right to teeter between the edges of heaven and hell.” The song is already a fan favorite and has more than 110 million streams on Spotify. Adele revealed that she also recorded a music video for the track “I drink wine”, but this hasn't been released yet.
