Lewis Hamilton is the formula 1 pilot with more registered podiums, having overcome legends as Michael Schumacher and Sebastian Vettel. His ability to stay among the first three over several seasons has contributed significantly to this feat.
Hamilton's brand reflects not only its ability to win, but also to win seconds and third places in adverse conditions. He has become synonymous with consistency and resilience, two essential attributes to remain competitive for years.
What makes this record so special in Formula 1?
Unlike isolated victories, the podiums show regularity. A pilot can overcome occasionally, but being repeatedly among the first three requires strategic mastery, good equipment and strong mindset.
This type of record is particularly special because it goes through different times and regulations, involving adaptation to different cars, teams and changes in running style. Only the most versatile can stay relevant and competitive for such a long time.
What were the most emblematic moments of this journey?
Several Hamilton podiums have entered history for factors beyond the result. An example is his first podium just in the premiere in Formula 1, in 2007. Another was the podium in the GP of Germany 2018when he won after leaving from 14th place.
There are also moments when, even without winning, he secured a place on the podium with performances above expectation, such as in heavy rain races, opponent's strategy errors, or skill -contoured technical problems.
How does the podium record influence a pilot's legacy?
Being constantly among the best directly impacts the perception of the public, teams and the history of sports. The legacy of a pilot consists of videos, statistics, iconic moments and consistency of results.
By leading the podium ranking, Hamilton solidifies his name as one of the most important in Formula 1 history. In addition to victories and titles, the frequency in the podium translates a constant presence in the top, essential to influence future generations.

This record shows how psychological preparation, care with physical condition and relationship with engineers and teams have become essential components in a pilot's career.
How does the public see this kind of record?
For fans, the number of podiums conveys a sense of reliability. Knowing that a pilot is almost always among the best generates empathy and admiration.
Moreover, in an age marked by statistics and data, this kind of record becomes heavy argument in debates about who is the greatest in history. Numbers help contextualize perceptions and passions.
What is the importance of this record for the future of Formula 1?
This type of brand establishes a new standard of excellence. Beginner pilots start to aim not only wins, but consistent performance.
With this, training teams and academies also value attributes such as emotional control, adaptability and leadership in Paddock. The future of Formula 1 tends to be shaped by profiles similar to those of those who reach lasting records like this.
The permanence of the big names through the podiums

Lewis Hamilton's brand in this context transcends the coldness of the numbers. It reveals a day of delivery, precision and resistance, serving as a reference for those who want to understand what is true greatness in motor sport.

NBA announces new format for All-Star Game
– Latest basket ball news, just in basketball highlights and lots more.
This Wednesday, the 12th, the NBA officially announced the new format of All-Star Game for 2026. Based in Los Angeles, at the Intuit Dome, the event will consist of a tournament with three teams: two with North American players and one with only foreigners.
This will be the fourth different format for the NBA All-Star Game in the last four years. The selection of the 24 players (12 from each conference) follows the same way. The ten starters will be chosen by fans (50% of the votes), media (25%) and the athletes themselves (25%). The 14 reserves are selected by the coaches.
Fans represent 50% of the votes, while the media and the athletes themselves have 25% each. The rest of the world team will be made up of eight foreigners, including Americans with roots abroad, and the 16 Americans will be divided into the country’s two teams.
If the voting results do not meet the correct number of players for the three teams, Adam Silver, league commissioner, will choose the athletes to fill the teams.
On February 15, 2026, the three teams will face each other in the first phase and the two best teams will make the decision. Matches will last 12 minutes. If each team ends with a defeat and a victory, the tiebreaker will be the difference in points.
