Anitta continues to expand her presence in the international music scene and won five nominations at the Juventud 2025 awards, one of the main awards of Latin music. The statement was released this week, and the 22nd edition of the event is scheduled for September 25, in Panama City. This is the first time the ceremony has taken place outside the United States.

Transmitted by Univisión, Unimás, Galavisión and platform VIX, the event is part of the Calendar of Hispanic Heritage Month and should bring together some of the greatest Latin artists today.

Versatility in the categories

Anitta’s nominations cover different styles and reinforce their versatility in the music scene. The album “Funk Generation” competes in the Best Urban Album category, while the track remix “Gata Only”partnership with Floyymenor and Ozuna, was remembered in Best Urban Mix.

In the girl power category, which celebrates prominent female collaborations, the Brazilian appears with “En 4”in partnership with Mexican Kenia OS. Already the single “Savage Funk” Received two nominations: Best Urban Track and Best Dance Track, the latter for the Remix version.

With five appointments, Anitta stands among the main names of this edition, consolidating the space she has won in the Latin and Global music industry. The Brazilian appears just behind Bad Bunny and Danny Ocean, who lead the list of nominees with six categories each. The performance reinforces the consistency of Anitta’s international trajectory, which returns to compete for some of the greatest Latin artists today.

Unprecedented awards in Panama

The Juventud 2025 awards will be held in Panama City, representing the first time in over twenty years that the ceremony takes place outside the US. The visual identity of the edition was developed in collaboration with the artist Panamenho Eddie Bragin, who incorporated elements of the spring, a traditional textile art of the Guna indigenous people, as well as references to controversy, plants and local fauna.

The choice of winners will be in the hands of the public, with an open vote on the site until September 1st.

For Anitta, who has accumulated international awards and performances, the nominations reinforce her name as one of the biggest names in current Brazilian music and further expand her presence in the Latin market.
