Away from the nets, Preta Gil and Gominho are seen together at the airport

After announcing time away from social media to focus on bowel cancer treatment, Black Gil was seen at Santos Dumont airport, in Rio de Janeiro, this Friday, July 14th.

The decision to leave social networks came after a whirlwind of emotions between the discovery of the disease and the separation from Rodrigo Godoywho cheated on the artist with her former stylist.

“I’m sick and I don’t mean cancer. I’m emotionally sick. (…) I have decided that I need to get away from social media and dive deeper into my emotional and spiritual healing, as I feel this pain is getting in the way of my cancer healing process”, declared the daughter of Gilberto Gil.

INDIRECT TO THE EX

Black Gil moved the audience at Engenhão, in Rio de Janeiro, on the night of Saturday, July 8th. The singer made a special appearance in the show “Numanice”, by Ludmilla and showed all its power.

On stage, Preta sang hits and ended up talking about the betrayal she suffered from her ex-husband, Rodrigo Godoy. In treatment for bowel cancer, Gilberto Gil’s daughter sent a message.

“We don’t know about tomorrow, we only know about today and we can only live for today. Tell your friend: ‘I forgive you… Betrayal is different, then we don’t forgive,’” she said.

At another point, she warned: “Next year I will be cured and, God willing, we will be with the Bloco da Preta on the street.”
