Larissa Manoela joins the cast of Back at 15 in the final season full of controversies

This Tuesday (12), Netflix announced that Larissa Manoela will be part of the cast of the final season of the series “Back to 15”, which will begin recording in October.

The actress will return to star alongside Maisa Silva, protagonist of the series and an old acquaintance of Larissa. Both acted together in the soap opera “Carrossel”, on SBT.

“Back to 15” was released by the streaming in 2022 and was based on the book of the same name by Bruno Vieira. This will be the 3rd and final season, with the other two already available in the Netflix catalog.

Announcement comes after controversy involving the actress's parents

It is important to highlight that this is the first role accepted by Larissa Manoela after her conflict with her parents, Silvana Taques and Gilberto Elias, became public, in an article broadcast by Fantastic in the month of July.

The 22-year-old fired her family as managers of her career after becoming upset with their “excessive control” and questioning the management of her finances.

According to the information, the couple's control was so great that they even dictated who Larissa could have relationships with, how she should spend her money and what clothes she would have to wear.

In a legal dispute, the actress gave up around R$18 million to try to end the conflict with her parents. The move was met with controversy and the controversy continued.

The announcement was made by Netflix Brazil's Vice President of Content, Elisabetta Zenatti, via social media. She highly praised the production and highlighted the nostalgia we felt when watching the series:

The role of the actress in the series

The last season of “Back to 15” will take place in 2009, in which the protagonist Anita (Maísa Silva/Camila Queiroz) is in college.

Filipa, a new character played by Larissa Manoela, will also be a student and will meet the main character at university. The new season has many adventures and new stories in store for these two university students.
