Halle Bailey like Princess Ariel!

The magazine Wrap recently released a new image of Halle Bailey as protagonist of the live action of “The Little Mermaid”besides an exclusive interview with the director of the feature, Rob Marshall. See below the image released:

In the conversation they had with the director, Marshall states that the characters in the movie will sing underwater in a way that has never been seen or produced before. He says: “It's very delicate how you introduce music in this surreal world. We open the movie above water and then get into this other world, and you accept these things immediately. You have to create the rules of how it works.”

The film has big names from audiovisual as: Alan Menkenmusical producer of most Disney movies, who even made some changes to the lyrics of certain songs so that there are no bad messages; Melissa McCarthy that will play the role of the evil Ursula; Jacob Tremblay that will play the role of the very cute sole; Daveed Diggs who will make Ariel's most companion friend, Sebastian; JONAH HAUER-KING which will be the romantic pair of Ariel, Prince Eric; JAVIER BARDEM who will be the father of the dear princess, the King Triton; Halle Bailey who will be the protagonist of the film, Princess Ariel.

In addition, the feature was scripted by Jane Goldman who is the same screenwriter as “X-Men: Days of a Forgotten Future” (2014) and is being directed by Rob Marshall who also directed great films like “Chicago” (2002); “Pirates of the Caribbean: sailing in mysterious waters” (2011) and “The Return of Mary Poppins” (2018). The live action of “The Little Mermaid” It is expected to be launched on May 26, 2023 and everyone eagerly awaiting the result of this production that created high expectations.
